  • Together for Families Enhanced Family Support Services resources

    Date published: 24 August 2026

    Last updated: 24 August 2026

Following the recent Family Support consultations, webinars and information sessions held as part of Together for Families (TfF), the following resources have been added to this page.

Presentation slides from each of the 5 Health and Social Care Trusts (HSCT) outlining their Gateway structures and the identified needs and priorities for the target cohort of families for the Enhanced Family Support Service (EFSS) within their respective areas.

DRAFT guidance for applicants and DRAFT application form. These documents will be finalised when the programme opens for applications in September 2026, incorporating any additional clarifications identified during the pre-application period. They are being made available at this stage to support organisations that are considering applying at the earliest stage in light of the timescales associated with this funding opportunity.

We would like to thank everyone who has participated in the sessions to date. We greatly appreciate your engagement and valuable contributions. Feedback received through these sessions highlighted a desire for additional information sharing and networking between organisations interested in participating in an EFSS partnership application.

    To facilitate this:

An Enhanced Family Support Service Contact sheet can be found here Enhanced Family Support Service Contact Form – Fill in form: organisation name; key contact details; type of support/service provided; interest in being a lead and/or delivery partner; and HSCT area of interest. This will be used to help prospective applicants identify potential partners for each bid. Please complete this by 28 August 2026.

A further EFSS networking opportunity will take place on 1st September 2026 at La Mon Hotel & Country Club – 41 Gransha Road, Carryduff BT23 5RF - 2pm-4pm. To help manage attendance, organisations are asked to nominate one representative per HSCT area of interest. Attendees should already have a good understanding of the Together for Families programme and the EFSS model through participation in previous sessions or by reviewing the materials referenced above. While TfF representatives will be available to answer questions and provide clarification on EFSS and the application process, the main focus of the event will be to support networking and partnership-building between potential applicants within each HSCT area. If you would like to attend, please register your interest by 28th August 2026 - togetherforfamilies@health-ni.gov.uk
