IHRD - Workstream 2 - Death Certification Implementation Working Group (DCIWG)

Workstream Task

The task of Workstream 2 Death Certification Implementation Working Group (DCIWG) is to implement 22 actions from 19 IHRD recommendations as set out below in the workstream brief.

There is 3 Subgroups of Workstream 2.

• The Preparation for Inquests Subgroup will take forward 7 of the 22 Workstream actions.
• The Independent Medical Examiner Subgroup will take forward 1 of the 22 Workstream actions
• HSC Bereavement Network & Pathology Network Subgroup will take forward 11 of the 22 Workstream actions.
• 3 remaining actions will be taken forward by DCIWG.
