Pharmacy robberies: Collection of data
To allow the accurate assimilation of data pertaining to this, we would ask pharmacies that have been affected to complete the form accessed via the internet link below for all such incidents dating from 1 January 2011 to date.
This will also be an ongoing process for recording any future incidents until further notice.
The data may be used to compile statistics for public consumption but information used will not include details which would identify particular pharmacists or pharmacies.
It is hoped that analysis of the data and information received will ensure that an accurate picture of the issue can be established and that any emerging trends, best practice and guidance can be disseminated throughout the community pharmacy network.
