Reform of Children's Social Care

The reform of Children’s Social Care Services is being overseen by a Strategic Reform Programme Board. The Board will provide strategic oversight, direction and governance to deliver reform within children’s social care services, which is intended to address a range of known service challenges and difficulties. Those challenges gave rise to an Independent Review of Children’s Social Care Services and were confirmed by it. In addressing the challenges, the programme will be guided by the findings and recommendations of the Review.
