Our Pact

A new children and families charter, ‘Our Pact’ has been designed in partnership with children, young people, parents and carers with the aim of ensuring that children, young people, parents and carers are respected, heard, informed and involved in decisions about their lives.
Our Pact was developed under the auspices of the Children’s Social Care Services Reform Programme, to address some of the issues raised by children, young people and families in the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care Services led by Professor Ray Jones.
Members of the Children’s Social Care Services Reform Programme Board are signatories to a joint statement – signalling their endorsement of Our Pact. See the joint statement attached below.
Our Pact will be rolled out as part of the new family support model, Together for Families.
