January 2024 update to fit note guidance
The Chief Nursing Officer Maria McIlgorm, Chief Allied Health Professionals Officer Michelle Tennyson and the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer Cathy Harrison have issued updated guidance on the issuing of fit notes (Med3 Forms) by an increased range of healthcare professionals in Northern Ireland.
