The Department of Health is seeking to appoint a Non-Executive Chair and a Non-Executive Finance Member to the Northern Ireland Guardian Ad Litem Special Health & Social Care Agency (NIGALA).
The appointments will take effect from September 2018. This is an exceptional opportunity to share your talents and expertise, and to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Northern Ireland. The positions provide an important leadership and accountability role, and whilst challenging, they provide the opportunity to shape and drive the delivery of essential services for citizens across NI.

Essential Criteria

Applicants applying for the Non-Executive Chair position will also have to meet the additional criteria of Leadership.
Non-Executive Financial Member
NIGALA is seeking a Non-Executive Member with financial experience and expertise. Applicants for this position will be required to satisfy the following additional criterion:
- He/she must have experience of Financial Management in an organisation with an annual financial budget/turnover of at least £5 million.

Remuneration
Chair £7,155 per annum – Time Commitment 2 - 3 days per month
Finance Member £2,981 per annum – Time Commitment 1 – 2 days per month
