The Department of Health has published a progress report highlighting the key achievements to date of the Health and Wellbeing: Delivering Together 2026 Strategy.
The Strategy, launched in 2016, set out the Department’s response to the recommendations included in the Bengoa Report, with the aim of stabilising, reconfiguring and transforming Health and Social Care services.
With the focus of achieving better outcomes for our citizens against a backdrop of severe budgetary challenges, there are many major areas of reform and reconfiguration underway. These are being progressed through co-production and collaborative working with a wide range of stakeholders, service users, clinical representative, and Arm’s Length Bodies.
