The purpose of this document is to describe a new Framework to improve health and wellbeing in the workplace. This development has been achieved through a review of evidence and practice as well as actively engaging with the views and experiences of the workforce throughout this process. The Framework has a primary focus on prevention and early intervention, creating a culture which promotes health and wellbeing and places a particular emphasis on constructing a healthy working environment.  Utilisation of the Framework will support health and social care employers in planning and implementing effective processes and resources for improving staff health, wellbeing and safety at work.
