Healthcare and the law on termination of pregnancy for fatal fetal abnormality
The focus of the Fatal Fetal Abnormality working group was to consider healthcare and the law in cases of fatal fetal abnormality (FFA). In particular, the group had to reach conclusions on the standard of health and social care provision for those women who have had such a diagnosis and identify any gaps in provision and how they can be closed, including consideration of the need for legislative change to the law on abortion.
