The Department of Health is seeking to appoint a Non-Executive Chair & 2 Non-Executive (Lay) Directors to the Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) and 1 Non-Executive (Lay) Director & 1 Non-executive (Finance) Director to the Northern Health & Social Care Trust (NHSCT). The positions offer an exceptional opportunity for you to play a key role in helping to shape and drive the delivery of essential health and social care services and to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Northern Ireland.
About WHSCT & NHSCT:
Both the WHSCT & NHSCT are two of 5 HSC Trusts responsible for the delivery of responsive and effective health and care services, for the ownership and management of hospitals and other establishments and facilities and have a range of detailed statutory functions and powers, particularly in respect of social care and children.
Applicants for these positions must on their application form, and if invited for interview, meet the following essential criteria: Leadership (Chair position only), Working Together to Deliver Positive Change, Governance & Risk Management, Using Information to Improve Organisational Outcomes and Financial Management (Finance position only).
