    The Department of Health is seeking to appoint 13 Non-Executive Members (5 x Local Government Representatives, 5 x Voluntary Organisation Representatives, 2 x Lay, & 1 x Trade Union Representative) to the Patient and Client Council (PCC).

    This is an exceptional opportunity to share your talents and expertise to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Northern Ireland.

    The PCC was established by the Health and Social Care (Reform) Act (NI) 2009 to ensure that the ‘voice of patients, clients, carers and communities is valued, heard and acted upon’ in the development of policy on, and provision of, Health and Social Care services. This statutory role gives the PCC a unique place within the Health and Social Care (HSC) sector in Northern Ireland. The overarching objective of the PCC is to provide a powerful, independent voice for patients, clients, carers, and communities on health and social care issues.
