Our Children and Young People - Our Pledge: A Ten year strategy for children and young people in Northern Ireland 2006 - 2016

The aim of this strategy is to ensure that by 2016 all our children and young people are fulfilling their potential. We want those who are doing well to continue to do well. However, there is evidence that despite significant investment by government over many years, there is insufficient progress being made to improve the lives of our most marginalised and disadvantaged children and young people. Some of that evidence is present in the statistics throughout this document.
