The Mental Health (NI) Order 1986 Article 129 (7) defines a Place of Safety as; any hospital designated as such by the managing Health and Social Care Trust; any Police station, or any other suitable place the occupier of which is willing to temporarily receive the person requiring a Place of Safety.
