- Information on emergency care waiting times is collected monthly using the emergency care waiting times return (EC1). It records all new and unplanned review attendances at emergency care departments. Whilst information on attendances including new, unplanned and planned reviews (KH09(ii)) is collected on a quarterly basis. All information is validated with health and social care trusts at the end of each year prior to publication.
