Delivering Together - Improvement Workshops for the Future Direction of Nursing and Midwifery - HSC Nursing and Midwifery Care

The Nursing & Midwifery Task Group have been holding a series of workshops with front line Nursing and Midwifery staff and other relevant partners to give you an opportunity to have your say, be listened to and heard on issues affecting your professions.
The first set of workshops took place in September and October and concentrated on two workstreams:
- Population Health, and
- Nursing and Midwifery Workforce
Workshops for the HSC Nursing & Midwifery Delivery of Care workstream have now been arranged and will take place in late November and December 2017. Each workshop will have a specific condition focus and will consider:
- current data on that condition at care transition points in the system; and
- the nursing and midwifery role of the future to help people with this condition ‘enjoy long, healthy, active lives’.
