    The department is concerned to ensure that social workers and other front line service providers are fully aware of the responsibilities of health and social care trusts toward privately fostered children in Northern Ireland, including children from overseas who are living with people who are not their parents or close relatives. The attached circular sets out the responsibilities of trusts in relation to such children.
