  • Public events for Children’s and Young People’s Emotional Health and Wellbeing Framework consultation

    A series of public events have been announced as part of the consultation on the draft Children and Young People’s Emotional Health and Wellbeing (EHWB) Framework.

    The aim of the Framework is to provide a consistent system-wide approach to children’s emotional health and wellbeing provision, including for those children who have neurodevelopmental or other related conditions or needs.

    To support the consultation process, a series of in-person and online seminars have been organised to provide more information about the draft Framework.

    The first in-person events will take place next week on 27 August in Tower Hill, Armagh, and 29 August in Ballymena.

    The dates and locations of all upcoming in-person meetings are as follows:

    • Date/Time: 27 August. 10.30am to 12.30pm. Location: Boardroom, Tower Hill, Armagh BT61 9DP
    • Date/Time: 29 August. 10.30am to 12.30pm. Location: Committee Room 4, County Hall, 182 Galgorm Road, Ballymena BT42 1QB.
    • Date/Time: 1 September. 2pm to 4pm. Location: Boardroom, Gransha Park House, 15 Gransha Park, Clooney Road, Derry/Londonderry BT47 6FN.
    • Date/Time: 4 September. 2pm to 4pm. Location: Conference Room CR2, Health and Social Care (HSC) building, 12-22 Linen Hall Street, Belfast BT2 8BS.

    In addition, the dates and times of all upcoming online events are as follows:

    • 28 August: 2pm to 4pm
    • 8 September: 10am to 12pm
    • 11 September: 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm
    • 12 September: 10am to 12pm
    • 15 September: 6pm to 8pm

    The online seminars will take place on Microsoft Teams.

    If you would like to avail of any of these information seminars, please register your interest by emailing the Regional Emotional Health and Wellbeing (EHWB) Team at the following email address: Regional.EHWB@hscni.net, indicating which seminar you would like to attend.

    These events will provide the opportunity to present information about the draft Framework, answer questions from the public, and encourage participation in the consultation process.

    The consultation deadline is 26 September 2025.

    1. The Health Minister launched the public consultation on a draft Children’s and Young People’s Emotional Health and Wellbeing Framework in May 2025.
