Butler welcomes appointment of Northern Trust Chief Executive

Health Minister Robbie Butler has welcomed the appointment of David Burns as Chief Executive of Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT).
Mr Burns, who currently serves as the Chief Executive of Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, has also worked in local government in both Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Minister Butler said:
"I am pleased to welcome David Burns to this key leadership role within the HSC. He has an impressive track record and has demonstrated a genuine commitment to public service throughout his career.
I wish to congratulate David on his appointment and look forward to working with him in this new role."
