The Department of Health is seeking applicants for the role of Chair of the Board of Belfast Health & Social Care Trust (BHSCT).

The Belfast Trust is one of the largest and most complex integrated health and social care organisations in the UK, and its leadership is critical to delivering high-quality services to the population it serves.
We are seeking an exceptional individual with a proven track record in leadership, performance management, and governance. The successful candidate will bring strategic insight, sound judgement, and the ability to inspire confidence across a wide range of stakeholders. This is a demanding yet deeply rewarding role, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of people across Northern Ireland.”
The position of a Non-Executive Chair offers an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in helping to shape and drive the delivery of essential health and social care services and to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Northern Ireland.
The successful applicant is expected to take up post from February 2026.
