Unscheduled care service pressures – Winter fortnightly monitoring

The DoH Winter Preparedness Plan 2023/24 was published at a regional Winter Summit on 4 October 2023. The Plan sets out HSC Trusts’ arrangements to mitigate against the expected demand pressures over the winter months and specified performance targets to be used to monitor the impact of winter preparations. It was agreed that management information on performance against the winter targets would be published every two weeks, commencing on the week starting 30 October 2023.

The Winter Preparedness Plan for 2023/24 can be accessed on our website.
