Equality and Human Rights Unit

Equality and Human Rights comes under the remit of the Department's Strategic Management Directorate and works to cover all areas of the Department's equality, diversity and human rights agenda.

The Branch has lead responsibility for enabling the Department to meet its equality and human rights obligations, including the equality statutory duties set out in Section 75 of the NI Act 1998; and compliance with the Human Rights Act 1998.
