DHSSPS recognises the importance of proper consultation and acknowledges the valuable role that consultees / stakeholders have to play in its work. The department is committed to working with stakeholders and those with an interest in its work and it already engages with a wide range of representative groups and individuals to obtain views which contribute to formulating policy and making decisions

Consultation description
In order to ensure that it consults as widely as possible the department has embarked upon this exercise to update its current consultee / stakeholder contact list.
If you/your organisation would like to be added to the list please complete the update form below and return it to the department’s Equality and Human Rights Unit by post, fax or email, or, if you prefer you can provide the details by phone.
The department has written to existing consultees asking them to confirm / update their details as necessary. Accordingly, there is no need for existing consultees to respond to this exercise.
The department will be happy to accept requests at any time, however, this exercise will close on Friday 18th December.
