The core provisions of the draft Mental Capacity Bill were published for consultation in tandem with the Department of Justice proposals for those subject to the criminal justice system. This consultation sought your views on the draft Bill and how it might be improved. The consultation opened on 27 May 2014 and closed on 2 September 2015.
