Summary

The draft regulations:-
• Propose consequential amendments to the Health and Social Care Pension Scheme rules, necessary to ensure the smooth closure of the legacy 1995 and 2008 Sections of the HSC Pension Scheme to future accrual and move all active members into the 2015 HSC Pension Scheme from 1 April 2022, as required by the Public Service Pensions and Judicial Offices Bill.

Consultation description

This consultation document sets out proposals to ensure the 1995 and 2008 sections of the HSC Pension Scheme are closed to future accrual from 1 April 2022, and the background to these compulsory changes.
