DHSSPS sought views on draft Regulations made under section 21(5) of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Criminal Justice and Support for Victims) Act (Northern Ireland) 2015. The Act, which achieved Royal Assent in January 2015, makes provision for an Independent Guardian to be appointed for child victims and potential victims of human trafficking, as well as separated children.
