Tender opportunities within the Health and Social Care sector
Tender opportunities within the Health and Social Care (HSC) sector will be advertised on the eTendersNI portal on the Central Procurement Directorate's website or the Investment Strategy for Northern Ireland (ISNI) website.
The Department works with a Centre of Procurement Expertise (CoPE), the Central Procurement Directorate (CPD) in DFP, to deliver its own procurements. However, on occasions the Department may work with Business Service Organisation Procurement and Logistics Service (BSO PaLS) as the CoPE depending on the nature of the service required.
The Department’s ALBs work with two CoPEs to deliver procurements. BSO PaLS works on procurement of non-construction goods and services, whilst CPD Health Projects works on procurement of construction and design services. Relevant procurement guidance is currently issued to HSC organisations by way of HSC(F) circulars.
