Firework injuries

Due to the small number of firework injuries reported each year, the Department of Health reviewed the firework injury collection process in 2015. The proposal was made to discontinue the annual data collection and statistical publication. Between 22nd October 2015 and 14th January 2016, a public consultation was conducted, and it was decided to discontinue the annual data collection and publication of firework injuries.
