    • Autism strategy and action plan

The Autism Act (NI) 2011 (‘the Act’) places a statutory requirement on the Department of Health (DoH) to prepare a report on the implementation of the Autism Strategy by Northern Ireland departments. A second Progress Report has now been finalised, the first being published in 2015. This report must laid before the Assembly by Ministers. In the absence of Ministers DoH are unable to fulfil this requirement at this time. However, a draft copy of the report is being published to set out the progress that has been made.

    The Strategy and Action Plan

The Autism Strategy (2013-2020) and Action Plan (2013-2016) was
subsequently approved by the NI Executive and launched in January 2014.
